Collage is an artistic technique that has been used for many years. The possibilities inherent in the collage, as well as in the game, enable the patient to express emotional content in an indirect and non-threatening way, and bring him into a new contact. The collage is a playful opportunity that gives space to curiosity, allows relinquishment of control and closeness to the real self-core (Winnicott, 2009), drawing closer to the wishes of the inner world and to confidential content.
הקולאז' הינו טכניקה אומנותית שהייתה מקובלת מזה שנים רבות. האפשרויות הגלומות בקולאז', כמו גם במשחק, מאפשרות למטופל לבטא תכנים רגשיים בדרך לא ישירה ומאיימת ולהביאם לידי אפשרות מגע חדשה. הקולאז' מהווה הזדמנות משחקית הנותנת מקום לסקרנות, מאפשרת ויתור על שליטה והתקרבות אל הגרעין העצמי האמתי (ויניקוט, 2009), תוך התקרבות אל משאלות העולם הפנימי, ואל תכנים חסויים.
