A conversation with Baruch Scholem, a social worker who developed a method of therapy that uses ideas from the world of Judaism, yet refuses to define itself as a therapy in the classical sense.
In this conversation, we attempt to understand the philosophical rationale behind his practical approach towards therapy – in which difficulty is not exactly difficulty and therapy is not exactly therapy. However, there is an emphasis on free choice and the power of speech in the therapeutic process.
Dr. Baruch Scholem is a man of faith, a father to five sons, a grandfather and a social worker.
