The lack of privacy, an unpredictable environment, irregular schedules, background noises and the lack of a single and set space create many challenges for art therapy in the hospital setting.

How do you maintain a safe space and a meaningful connection despite all the above? In this chapter, Asnat will expand on an art therapy model that she developed during her many years of work at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
