The supervision approach is influenced by the understanding that an individual person is the result of the introverted objects that he/she carries within them, and also defined by the way he/she works through them in relation to the world. During training, by working with images in a safe and distanced manner, combined with the physical resonance that they evoke, which directly relates to this inner content, deep therapeutic insight can be achieved, and significant progress can be made in areas of that are less clear and possibly hindered. Through internal discussions and processing with a supervisor, integration and insight can be achieved. In addition, observing the parallel relationships creates a form of "modeling": a supervisor-supervisee/therapist-client relationship is made possible to assist in challenging developmental barriers that occur during therapy and supervision sessions.
